In this episode of the Being Yoga Podcast, I chat with Davina Donovan about her work as a clinical psychologist, yoga and meditation teacher and how all these worlds come together.  

We discuss the modern practices of yoga and how this has deviated from traditional paths in India.   We also discuss the cross over between mindfulness meditation and therapy and why both are incredible tools for living a full life.    

Something we discuss at length is the idea of being okay with discomfort and how modern people have become a little resistant to this idea.

Davina has spent 17 years working with suicide prevention and postvention and we discuss this almost epidemic problem in modern life especially as it relates to men.
