Being Yoga Podcast
Episode 3 - Andrew Roberts
How to Build a Thriving Yoga Business

In this episode I speak with Andrew Roberts about the challenges and possibilities for yoga teachers to build their businesses during challenging circumstances.

Andrew is a business coach, mentor and entrepeneur who has built a number of million dollar businesses from the ground up.  He is currently the CEO of Farm Owners Academy, a business education programme aimed at helping farm owners maximise their business potential.  He is the author of 'What the hell are you chasing', a father of two and keen meditator.

We discuss the three key ingredients for yoga teachers to focus upon - passion, skills and business/marketing skills.  Andrew shares that those businesses who can move from fear to focus and actually increase their marketing budget in times of recession generally do best.  He says now is an incredible opportunity to redefine your market, narrow down your niche and get really clear who you are as a leader in this field.  He says that to shift your focus away from your self and toward your customers, continually asking the question how can I add more value, is the sign of great things to come in your business.
